Avocado fries are the perfect snack for entertaining guests this fall! The crunchy texture on top of the fresh avocado is the perfect combination. These fries can be easily made using a convectional oven or air fryer. I highly suggest the air fryer for that ultimate crunchy outside coating. No need to take my word for it though, just follow the easy steps below to make your own avocado fries and enjoy!
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 Fresh Avocado
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 2 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning
- Pinch of Salt & Pepper
The Dipping Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
In a small bowl or dish, combine ranch and sriracha sauce. Stir until completely blended. Dip, dip, hooray!
WHAT TO DO
STEP 1: Preheat the air fryer to 400.
STEP 2: Next, pour breadcrumbs and taco seasoning into a small bowl. Mix until blended. Set aside.
STEP 3: In a separate small bowl, combine milk and egg. Mix well.
STEP 4: Gently peel the outside layer off the avocado. Cut the avocado into long slices.
STEP 5: Carefully dip the avocado slices into the milk and egg bowl. Immediately transfer the avocado slices into the breadcrumb mixture and roll the avocado around until fully covered.
STEP 6: Set in the refrigerator for 9-10 minutes. Remove from refrigerator and immediately transfer into air fryer.
STEP 7: Air fry avocado slices for 3-4 minutes. Flip and continue to air fry for 3 minutes.
Allow to cool, dip, and enjoy!
