I love finding ways to incorporate asparagus into recipes and this recipe may very well take my love for goat cheese to an entirely new level! This tart is cheesy, savory and overall a crowd pleaser! What You Need
- 8 oz Asapagus, Trimmed
- 5 oz Goat Cheese, Room Temperature
- 2 Tsp. Minced Garlic
- Lemon Zest
- 2 Tbsp. Chopped Chives
- 1 Cup Creme Fraiche, Room Temperature
- 1 Puff Pastry Sheet
- 1 Egg, Whisked & Beaten
- 2 Tbsp. Shaved Parmesan Cheese
- Salt & Pepper
- Olive Oil
What To Do
Preheat oven to 425 F.
Mix together egg, minced garlic, goat cheese, chives. Add lemon zest and sprinkle of salt.
Whisk in Creme Fraiche until completely combined.
Roll out puff pastry sheet and create a border by scoring the edges using a fork or knife.
Spread Creme Fraiche mixture evenly onto puff pastry sheet and top with trimmed asparagus.
Brush with olive oil, sprinkle salt and pepper.
Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool and enjoy!
