Peanut butter and banana sandwiches were a lunch time favorite in our household growing up. I remember my mother would even make peanut butter and banana sandwiches for us to take to the park for a little picnic! We ate these sandwiches so often that it was very noticeable to the day my mother switched over to whole wheat bread. My brother and I had enjoyed the classic taste of white bread for so long but my mother wanted us to also enjoy the benefits of whole wheat bread. Now that I am a mother, I totally understand where my mother was coming from because I want Hampton to enjoy the benefits of bread made with whole wheat too! Luckily, I discovered Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread and it turns out everyone wins!
I am so excited to have teamed up with Babbleboxx because they sent over a box from Arnold Organic Bread filled with Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread made with Whole Wheat plus some additional goodies to make sandwich time more fun!
Our box included Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread Disney’s Mickey Mouse sandwich cutters, biodegradable plates, reusable ziplock bags, an apron, a chef’s hat and Disney’s Mickey Mornings activity sheets for Hampton.
Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread is a good source of Vitamins A, D, & E and uses organic whole grain as the first ingredient. I love that it is good for Hampton and Hampton loves that Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are on the packaging. Hampton loves the way Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread tastes, especially when I use it to create a delicious peanut butter and banana sandwich!
Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself with these three easy steps below…
WHAT YOU NEED
Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread
Peanut Butter (creamy works best in my opinion)
1 Ripe Banana, cut into 1/2 inch slices
Disney’s Mickey Mouse Sandwich Cutter (optional)
Stack two slices of Arnold Organic White Made with Whole Wheat Bread on a plate. If you do opt for the Disney’s Mickey Mouse sandwich cutter, this is when you place the cutter in the middle of the stacked bread slices. Next, using a knife, carefully trim away the excess bread to form the shape of Disney’s Mickey Mouse.
Spread desired amount of peanut butter onto one slice of bread.
Top with banana slices and place the two pieces of bread together to form a sandwich. ENJOY!
