Clean up your garbage disposal after a long day of cooking and cleaning simply by pouring half a cup of baking soda combined with one cup of vinegar down the disposal drain. Next, pour one cup boiling water down the drain. The boiling water will rinse away any loose and leftover debris.
Garbage Disposal Deodorizing Hack
What You Need
- 10 Drops Tea Tree or Lemon Essential Oils
Wave goodbye to those unpleasant garbage disposal smells with 10 simple drops of Tea Tree Oil or Lemon Oil.

Bathroom Toilet Cleaning Hack
What You Need
- 1 Cup Baking Soda
- 15 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
- 15 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
Combine baking soda and essential oils in the toilet bowl. Allow to sit for 30 minutes. Using a toilet bowl brush, scrub the entire bowl making sure to get the sides before flushing.
Bathroom Drain Cleaning Hack
What You Need
- 1/3 Cup Baking Soda
- 1/3 Cup Vinegar
- Small Cup
Combine baking soda and vinegar in a small cup. Once the mixture begins to fizz, immediately pour the mixture down the sink drain. Allow to sit for one hour. Flush with hot water. This will help break up gunk, grime and hair that may be clogging the drain.
