The historical Jekyll Island Club Resort is a hidden gem tucked away between the marsh and Atlantic Ocean located in South Georgia. The resort features several family activities accompanied by scenic views making it the perfect spot for your next family getaway!
Here are 3 family activities we conquered with a toddler during our stay at the Jekyll Island Club Resort!
Jekyll Island is extremely scenic featuring miles of bicycle paths underneath shaded canopy trees. This was the perfect Saturday afternoon activity for our family and Hampton enjoyed the bicycle ride…once the bicycle became in motion. Book your own bicycle adventure and learn more by visiting…
Georgia Sea Turtle Center
The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is located right next to the Jekyll Island Club Resort. If you look closely, you can even spot sea turtle stamps on the road leading up to the Sea Turtle Center. The staff is extremely welcoming, informative and truly encompasses a passion for helping to rehabilitate sea turtles until they are able to be re-released into the wild. This experience was so special and Hampton enjoyed watching a baby sea turtle feeding. The staff was so engaged and animated during the feeding that it really caught his attention, and that can be hard to do!

The Jekyll Island Ocean Club is located directly on the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean. We stayed at the Ocean Club, making it extremely convenient to enjoy the beach with a little one. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The lobby is just steps from the ocean and every single room features beach front views. I will admit, I was nervous taking my toddler out to eat at the restaurant but the staff helped me feel extremely comfortable and the casual atmosphere was perfect for our family outings. During our stay, we visited the beach at least twice a day. I can’t wait to return to the Jekyll Island Ocean Club!
