When you dip, I dip, we dip! I am such a fan of appetizer dips and upon pinteresting my hosting dreams away, I quickly realized I am not a fan of homemade dips. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a made from scratch dip but it can be time consuming and for this busy-bee who rarely sits still, I needed easier. This is when I discovered that the most wonderful, thoughtful and smart grocery stores carry a refrigerated version of spinach dip. Step 1, buy the wonderful, refrigerated spinach dip. Step 2, “fluff that dip up!” Pick out a few vegetables you can cut up and add into the dip. My go-to options include chives, onions or tomatoes. Sometimes all three if I’m feeling crazy but broaden your dip horizons because the possibilities are endless. Step 3, add some white cheese! I prefer mozzarella or a nice “italian mix” as the Sargento bag states. Want to really put some pizazz on that spinach dip you are taking to the neighbors? Buy a round loaf of bread and hollow it out into a bread bowl. It looks fantastic and the excess bread is perfect for dipping! The rest is simple! Add your chopped ingredients to the dip, mix it around, bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes in an OVEN SAFE DISH then pour into the bread bowl! You are done and bonus points, it looks a lot more pinterest worthy but the taste is what will have people asking for more! Happy dipping!
