It’s WEDDING SEASON!
I had the pleasure of hosting my first ever bridal shower this weekend! The shower was for my future sister-in-law so of course I wanted everything to be fabulous! Here are a few items I found that really added to the bright & colorful ambiance of the bridal shower…
The concept of a “Bridal Bunch” was perfect! Through word of mouth, I heard of a fantastic caterer and even had the pleasure of trying the food at a previous event. Hiring Amy at Red Bowl Catering was a great choice because I was able to focus my time on planning and decorating as opposed to cooking. I was so fortunate that Amy provided me with a variety of scrumptious dishes to choose from such as the fruit & doughnut skewers, that ft perfectly into the “Brunch Style” theme.
When it came down to casual or formal, I opted for a casual “buffet style” lay out of all the food. I found these stylish Antique Gold Metal Flamingo Card Holders by Kate Aspen to label each delicious dish.
Shrimp & Grits w/Toppings Bar
Mimosa Coffee Cake
Fruit & Doughnut Hole Skewers
Spinach & Goat Cheese Frittata
Macaroni & Cheese (for the little ones)
Brunch is not complete without a mimosa bar! I decided to keep it simple by providing a variety of four juices including OJ, Grapefruit, Cranberry and Peach juice. Guests were able to help themselves to bottomless mimosas using these stylish Gold Confetti Champagne Glasses I found at Kate Aspen.
Make that mimosa even cuter with a fun fruit garnish held in place with a LOVE Drink Swizzle . I provided strawberries, raspberries and blackberries!
Party planning can be so stressful so I wanted to make sure clean up would be a breeze! Thankfully I found these adorable Kate Aspen Cherry & Chic Paper Plates just in time for the party. The colors matched the bright and fun ambiance of the party and it was super easy for guests to dispose of and continue enjoying the festivities.
Last but not least, every Bridal Shower needs party favors! This is one of my favorite aspects of entertaining. I love sending my guests home with a small memory from a fantastic day!
Luckily, I spotted these adorable Ceramic Lemon Bottle Stoppers by Kate Aspen. Each bottle stopper comes individually packaged and topped with a small white bow.
